    adrenal disease in ferrets

Two of my ferrets appear to have adrenal disease. They have all the signs: lost hair from top to tail, losing weight, loss of energy, red itchy patches of skin, constantly drinking water, etc. Does anyone have experiance with this? I know prices vary between vets, but how much did treatment and/or surgery cost? Finances are holding me back from getting anything done, but if I know a price to shoot for, I can start saving to get them taken care of. Thanks for any advice.

I don't know a price cuz I haven't had to deal with it yet *crosses fingers* but I do know it's very very very expensive, especially for two ferrets. The longer you wait the worse it's gonna get and it could get to the point that there's no hope and you'll wish you'd brought them in sooner. I'd call around to vets and see if they'll do a payment plan for you.
