    Kiko chews on metal objects

    Anyone have any ideal why my girl would be chewing on metal objects? I've notice that she was chewing on our CD/DVD holder which is made of metal. THen I noticed today she was chewing on our stand in the kitchen wich I believe is made of Stainless steal, and also a plastic hanger that had a metal hook/hanger part to it.

    I just hope she's not getting sick I've been able to keep her from the CD/DVD holder but I'm begining to worry... I'll probably take her to the vet ....

    metal chewing

    And this is a cat? Sounds more like a goat! I wonder if they become deficiant in certain elements and crave metal to replace or if is simply behavioural OR, it makes the gums feel good? (like a puppy..) What's the age? This is truely odd unless others have heard of this...

    Our girl is 6 months old. She has all her teeth but maybe he back ones are just coming in?

    Doogie chews on plastic and the wooden handle on my recliner. I have absolutely NO idea why either.

    Since your baby is about 6 months old, it could be she's getting new teeth in.

    She's chewing on wood too! I thought all her teeth came in already...but if she's not being entertained every minute I thinks she might chew her tail right off... My silly girl KIKO

    Good idea

    A rubber toy seems much better then my toes! My silly girl... I just love her so.... I wish Sugar would be more responsive towards her but he's still a bit jealous.

    Totally off the subject, but since you mentioned it, how long have Kiko and Sugar been together?

    Sometimes it does take a while.

    A Bengal? Why YES!

    Baby girl is a 6 month year old Bengal... My first.

    She is a real kick... Looks like you have Bengals as well. I have more pictures at this website. I hope it works...

    Sugar and Kiko have been together for about 2 months....He's slowly coming around... He is the BABY and to have a little one around ... I think he feels a bit jealous not to mention he lost his best friend about 6 months ago.
