It's DANG cold here, what are you doing?

Highs in the single digits today and snow snow snow. Feels like summer compared to yesterdays when highs were below zero and windchills were some obscene number I won't even type.

    So what's the remedy?

I put on some loud Jimmy Buffett on my desk stereo. Havana DayDreaming...

giggle, our cold snap finally broke! Back up to -20C! (-4F) It's been -40 for weeks (same in both F and C). I'm loving it. The dogs are happy and active and the cold keeps the idiots with loose dogs at home! No problems with loose dogs jumping into my dog team lately!

Yeah, you guys from waaaaayyy up nort der are a little loony, but I can understand it. Down here in the lower 48 we're just so spoiled.

I'm taking an online class and one of the ladies is from Alaska - don't remember exactly where, so I've been hearing about the temps up there. She had to fly to Oklahoma to see her mother and couldn't believe the 30 degree temps. She had to take her coat off she said.

    It's all relative I guess.

Glacier, now that we have your attention, how 'bout some pics of those adorable kitties of yours?

You have to be a little nuts to live up here, I think!

I'll start a new thread in Cat General with some new pics.

It's lightly snowing right now. Pretty to watch, but driving home is going to be a pain.

It's 12 F right now, but that's warm compared to what it has been.

It's a little bit "warmer" here today as well--maybe 11 or 12 degrees

I don't like the bitter cold, but I do love snow!!
I just deal with it, and bundle up!! I don't leave the house for much but work either--keeps my spending in check!!!
