    Tiny, my childhood cat

I've been thinking a lot lately about Tiny... I was 9 years old when we got him. We got him New Years Eve. At the time, we lived with my grandmom and she had a big party that night, so I stayed all night in the basement with him and brought in the New Year with my new kitten.

He was a very scardy-cat his whole life but gave my grandmom a ton of love. When my mom remarried, I couldn't take Tiny with me, so Grandmom kept him a I got to visit him every weekend. He absolutely LOVED to chase my Uncle Doug's crumpled up cigaretter packs - I don't know if it was the odor or the crinkly cellophane. And in my obsessively neat grandmom's house, you could always find crinkled up cigaretter packages everywhere.

Anyway, Tny was a special guy and I wanted to show him to you... Here he is with my grandmom.

They are both in heaven together right now. I miss both of them.

What an artful expression of love. What the love of a human can do for a cat and what the love of a cat can do for a human.

I'm glad they had eachother and you.

What a wonderful tribute; it brought tears to my eyes. That picture is beautiful and would be really nice in a frame. Thanks for sharing such a lovely story.

Tiny and Grandma are together forever and you will see them again some day.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Thank you... he was very special to me and was the last cat I had until Allen.
I do have the picture framed and on my big wall in my office - the yellow bubble at the bottom is it!
