    This makes me so mad...

    I was browsing through petfinder and came across this description on an adorable dog....

    Simba is a really sweet boy who loves to sleep on the bed with you. He is an owner turn-in to a shelter due to the fact that he was getting OLD! He has a gorgeous coat that has been groomed by Karla of Karla's Grooming. He is just plain handsome. This boy really deserves a family that will love him for the years that he has left. He is a great boy and very loving. He is doing better on housebreaking, but occasionally still will mark in the house.

    I just tried to do a search for him again, and I can't find him. I'm so bored right now, I've been browsing petfinder for hours. It just amazes me how many beautiful dogs wind up homeless. I wish I could keep them all.

    It amazes me still how heartless some people can be. Dogs accept us happily as we are, old or young, short or tall, thin or not-so-thin, sick or healthy... It's a shame many people can't live by the example of their dog.

    Gessh! My Nicki's getting old (just turned 9) and I worry that I only have a few years left with her! I'll die the day we lose her! Why on Earth would someone spend years with a dog then discard it when it wasn't cute and perky anymore? Amazing how callous people can be.
