Grandma got run over by a reindeer

Thought you might want to remember this old Christmas song!! This was always one of my favorites, LOL.
Here is a link if you want to hear the music and sing along:

    http://www.101funpages.com/html/hdcm_ggro1203.asp

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

She'd been drinking too much eggnog,
And we begged her not to go.
    But she forgot her medication,
And she staggered out the door into the snow.

When we found her Christmas morning,
At the scene of the attack
She had hoof prints on her forehead,
And incriminating Claus marks on her back.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe.

Now we're all so proud of Grandpa,
He's been taking this so well.
See him in there watching football,
Drinking beer and playing cards with cousin Mel.

    It's not Christmas without Grandma,
All the family's dressed in black.
And we just can't help but wonder
Should we open up her gifts or send them back?
    SEND THEM BACK!!!

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe.

Now the goose is on the table
And the pudding made of fig (ahhhhh!)
And the blue and silver candles,
That would just have matched the hair in Grandma's wig.

I've warned all my friends and neighbors,
    Better watch out for yourselves.
They should never give a license,
To a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves.

    Sing it, Grandpa!

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe.

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

Yeah I love that one too, I remember when it first came out, I would wait and wait for the radio station to play it. Without it, just don't seem like Christmas! LOL

Right now after I fell off the porch, I think I would feel better if Santa's Reindeer did run over me, I hurt everywhere. At least I would maybe just end up having hoofprints on my forehead. LOL, Clumsy me!!!

I love it too! Our radio station gets so many requests for it that they put it on their website.
    http://www.country105.com/

They also have 2 other Christmas songs that are requested a lot,
Six White Boomers (my all time favorite) and the Grinch song.

    *Thanks Ashley*
