Katie the Lap Dog and A Couple of Other Pics

Katie seems to think she can pull off the lap dog thing. She just doesn't realize how big she is...lol. For the past 3 nights she has been climbing up in the chair with Alden. She will stand across the chair and he rubs her belly. Very funny and cute!

Katie is a beautiful dog. I think she gets more beautiful every time you take a picture. She is a very photogenic dog. Her colors and markings are amazing!

That is one big lapdog, poor Alden looks like he might be in pain. These dogs just don't realize how big they are. My Rottwieler thinks she is a lap puppy, if I sit down in the floor, she trys to crawl in my lap, and I am sitting there trying to get my breath, turning blue.

They just think they fit just fine though don't they? What kind of dog is Katie? She is huge!

Tray..actually Alden was hurting a bit. He kept saying, Will you hurry up, she is killing me...lol. Katie is an Akita. Right now I think she is weighing in at 73 pounds. She just keeps growing and growing. I think she will slow down pretty soon. She is 8 months old.

Thanks Robin, for asking about Tiny. She is feeling much better. She is running and playing. She squeaks once in a while if I pick her up wrong. She is eating good.

As I don't get to check in here at Pet Talk very often any more, I hadn't seen Katie in a while. WOW, she has grown! And please permit me to say she is gorgeous. The kind of gorgeous which leaves my mouth hanging open. I have to believe that she is also a very well behaved young lady or you wouldn't be able to have the Santa and Mrs. Santa dolls there under the tree.

She is a Perfect Lap Dog....Joey is 100 or so pounds....and is on mine or John' lap every night!!!!!
Especially now that we are having such a Cold Spell!!! (You know..48 to 50 degrees at night!!)

Robin- I completely understand the lab dog thing...all threeof ours (Spot 50 lbs, Sadie 65, and Cincy 75) think they are lap dogs The hardest part is whenthey all think it at the same time, and you are buried under 190 lbs of dog!

Robin - She looks wonderful sitting by the Christmas Tree!! I can't get Buddy to sit and stay, I he'll sit, but will NOT stay for me to take a picture!! Sierra is afraid of the camera most of the time!!
