    Aww, what a sweetheart. I think boxers look so much better without their ears cropped. In general not too big a fan of ear cropping anyway. He is a beautiful boy.

    You are a handsome boy Maximus! So, boxer x Rottie huh? Interesting mix! I like it....kinda like a bullmastiff......are you protective like a bullmastiff?

    Are dobe's born with their ears naturally cropped? If not....I've never seen one without their ears cropped! My grandma thinks that dobes look dumb when they don't have their ears cropped. like, they don't look protective....sorry for getting off subject.

    Nope, they are manually cropped. My sister had a dobe for many years with uncropped ears. Look at a UKC website and you will see them without cropped ears, since the UK does not allow it. I wish the AKC would not allow it either.

    I couldn't tell Max was a mix, but after being told, his face head on does remind me of a rotti's

    I've NEVER seen a Dobie with cropped ears in person (exept on TV) the look cuter with their ears, same as Danes!
