Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me.
As you may know my cat Gigi has mediastinal lymphoma and due to stress and her protests we stopped the chemo some weeks ago. She was also having homeopathy and extra vitamins as well which again we have had to stop. Even though she was confirmed to still be in remission a few weeks ago, she has not been too good recently and I think she may be slowly deteriorating. She has lost weight, her fur is dull and she seems fairly quiet much of the time. Her appetite has also changed. I am now considering restarting the chemo but without the homeopathy backup etc, so as to make it less stressful
for her. The vet is coming to see her during the week to give her
vits and pred jab. My idea is to introduce the chemo again at the
same time, as her appetite will be good and hopefully I may be able to sneak the tabs in her food and get away with it.
My question is this :does anyone have any advice on using chemo alone. I realise she will need extra vitamins and wondered if a regular jab might do the trick instead of tablets and in addition ensure that she gets a good diet.
Thanks v much. Anything is appreciated.
