    You are all so smart...

you were right! Nicki has a staph infection (and ear infection) so we spent a fortune at the vets, but now are loaded up with meds to make her itchies go away. I have new shampoo to wash her with and am relieved to hear the vet suggest that I use it once a week as I've been doing.

She of course behaved like a fool in the vets office.

Isn't it funny that some of our dogs have a totally different personality at the vets?? We're still waiting for Sandra to tell us about cutie Cody's vet visit last year............ Both Killian and Shiloh act the same at home and at the vet. They love Killian there!

Glad to hear that Nicki has been diagnosed and is on her way to recovery!!!!

LOL Don't they always?!? Millie is my bad girl at the vets office. Chester actually likes to go, but he's an office favorite so who could blame him? He gets kisses, hugs and they have special treats there just for him because of his allergies.

Glad to hear that Nicki's on the mend and I'm gald we were here to help.

Just curious, what meds did they give you for itching?

    The meds she has are:

    Shampoo - Etiderm
    Steroid - predizone
antibiotic - cepha... something, can't read the handwriting.

The vets said keep using the Benaryl after the meds she gave me are done. At least I know that what I was doing is right.

She also gave me a presecription for her ear. Poor baby has to swallow a lot of pills in the next few weeks.
