    clive vs the white coats

Clive got an owie on his mouth. looks like he tried to bite into something hard (a little tree in my den I suspect). looks like he got a little wood splinter or something similar in his lip. It's not life threatening but he's going to the white coats tomorrow. Good timing since he just got his shot reminder in the mail. Poor vet trying to work with a realllly angry Clive and see whats in his lip. He looks a little like Melanie Griffith right now.

Bless his heart. I hope it won't be too painful. But I would bet he looks kind of cute with his pouty mouth!!!

Good luck tomorrow, Clive. Be nice to the vet!!!

Good luck at the vet tomorrow.

I am sorry to hear about the owie, but if he was going to hurt himself he at least did it at a time you can get the shots done too.

Anyway, I hope Clive is OK.

Clive's fine. Thanks for the encouragement. Turns out he just bit his lip. Probably bonked it jumping off something. His tooth caused a bruise.

He was a pretty good boy all in all!

It's true. It was such a hoot to see him meow with a big puffy lip. Poor guy. I kept laughing at him. He couldn't really eat so mommy gave him milk, and later mashed up tender vittles in milk. It wasn't really bad, I just couldn't GET AT IT on my own. A nurse, the doc and me, and we could finally see that it was really just a bruise.

He's back on solid foods, but of course would prefer the milk....

It is good to know that Clive was "only slightly dented"

Good idea! I wish I'd taken a photo of his botox lips though!

I'll look though my photos and see if there's anything I haven't posted before... preferably highlighting kitty lips

I am really happy to hear that clive is all better now.

I will agree with every one else, we need more pics.
