Please keep Grandma D. in your thoughts..

Pet Talk's hearts have done so much in the past when it's come to tragedies...

My friend's Grandmother, which I will refer to as Grandma "D" - Hasn't been doing to well lately. They don't think she's going to make it much longer.

Please keep Grandma D in your thoughts, as my friend is very depressed about the whole situation.

He doesn't think she's going to make it through the week.

You are right, PT prayers do help. God speed Grandma D and I'm sending prayers out to your friend and his family. He's lucky to have a friend like you.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I'm so sorry to hear about Grandma D, Kay. Please let her know and your friend know that they will both be in our prayers. It's not easy to lose someone, but the support of friends and family can help make such a loss easier. -->Hugs and prayers sent your way<--

And please, keep us updated on her progress.

It's especially sad since it's near the holidays. That makes things worse. If she does have to leave this world, may she leave it in peace with no pain.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Tell your friend to visit his Grandma as much as he can, to ask her questions if he's wondered about anything. Tell her every day he loves her, if he can't think of anything to say, and she's alert enough to talk, ask what it was like when she was a child. If she's not up to talking, he can tell her the littlest things about his day, and she'll be happy just to hear his voice.

Prayers on the way for Grandma D.
