    Dear Diary

    Dear Diary,

    I was so excited. I thought I had a new friend. Yesterday my cousin Gavin came to visit. I greeted him and did the standard nose touch. He seemed receptive so I rolled over on my back and made cute. I waited and waited. In fact, I fell asleep waiting.

    He was afraid of me....sweet little me (okay, I outweigh him but I'm still sweet!)

    Later Blondie brought him to my room where I was catching a few zzzzz. He froze in fear.



    I said...hey....


    He begged Blondie to "save" him. Geesh from what!?!?!?!?. She called him some kind of cat I think.....


    I went back to sleep. I mean...what fun is that????

    p.s. I'm told he may have had some bad experiences in the past with HH. Imagine that???

    What a cute story told through super photos!!! Gavin may have had bad experiences with HH? What's a HH? Her Highness? Holly Hunter? Hugh Hefner?

    Well, Eddie's a doll. Can't believe you got such great pictures and from several different perspectives. A big WOW!

    Yep, you got it! If you go back a few months and do a search, you'll find the whole story of Eddie and Edwina - aka HH and other various names that may not be so nice.

    Eddie, you are amazing! Here Edwina has been trying to get the upper paw with Gavin for years - and you do it in one fell swoop!

    What a cute story and cute pics too. You sure are a laid back cat Eddie. I'm sure that if Gavin hadn't had such a bad experience with Edwina, that he wouldn't have been so afraid of you and would have become your friend. He may have mistaken you for her too.

    oh how cute!

    i loved that little story. and really eddie looks absolutely adorable. how could anyone be afraid of him.
    my cats believe they should be addressed as Goddess and Empress, not merely Pitter and Patter.
