Could it be a urinary tract infection?

Okay here is my problem. My dog who I have had for almost a year has never been house trained. I have been having alot of problems with him and doing his buisness outside. Well we have almost got him trained but he has to use the bathroom like every other hour. Is this normal for a 1 year old dog? I have been noticing that his urine is grittey but it is old when I find it. Could this mean a urinary Tract Infection or just old urine? Also does White Vinegar stain carpet? I heard it is good for old pet odors and was going to clean the carpet with it.

    Thanx Alot,

    Tiffany

    Tiffany,

I would immediately take your dog to the vet to check it out~ it doesn't sound normal.

I agree with Snowys Mom, you should take your dog to the Vet pronto.

Another vet recommendation! Gritty urine is not normal no matter how old it is. Urine should be liquid and not gritty. Call the vet immediately!!!!
