Poor Luna has tons of leucos in her urine

I brought another urine sample to the vet today after she had peed on the floor again this morning.

As you might know, she has already been on antibiotics till last week, but since she's still peeing, another test has been necessary.

Now I have just called the vet and they haven't found any struvite crystals, but a high amount of leucocytes this time. She'll get another antibiotic medicine now and if that won't work, her urine will be tested for e.coli. She already had problems with that in the past (in her colon, when she was 1 year old), so it could be these bacteria might have spread in her urinary tract now.

I really hope Luna will accept the new pills and will finally get better after that treatment!

Luna: please be a good girl and take all your meds that your Meowmie is giving you. We love you so much and just want to see you get better. Praying that this works.

Poor Luna. Our little Bo had e-coli in her nasal passages. We are still having problems with her in that respect. Good luck...

    Dear Luna,

I'm sorry to hear that you aren't feeling better. I know that I haven't been around lately...my meowmie has not had the time to help me to get onto the internet. Please be a good girl and take all your medicine so that you will feel better. Sending you lots of noserubs!

    Love,

    Kirsten,
Isn't it at least 'good' that you understand it IS a medical problem with little Luna? I am praying that this course of antibs works, and the peeing stops!! Hugs to you, and scritchies to her.
