    help

    my grandpa caught a stray kitten out side of his house but it is very active but it also goes to the bathroom his his waterdish and im not joking i saw it with my own i eyes why would he do that is he retarted or is he just clean? if you have any ideas tell me cause my grandpa doesnt know why

    Secondly, I'm sorry to say that I have no idea why the kitty is going to the bathroom in his water dish. Personally I have never heard of this before.
    Does your grandfather have a litterbox for the kitty that he can easily get into?

    Maybe the food and water dishes are too close to his litter box. Kitties don't like these to be too close together.

    It could also be his way of telling you that his litterbox is not clean enough. Urinating in water is less odiferous than urinating in a dirty litterbox (or even a clean one!--it's why we use toilets, after all)


    Please also make sure he has access to clean water!
