Well, Ladybird and Nebo visited the Pet Expo today....

All of these cages had cats and kittens up for adoption

I loved this cats markings!

And here's all the dogs up for adoption...

The boxer reminded me of Zippy-kat's Sara! Awww

It was so difficult.......I would have LOVED to have adopted one (or all? ) of those dogs and cats. Unfortunately I know that wouldn't have worked so well for my parents.....

But we couldn't come home without a new pet, right?

Let me introduce Nebo and Lady's new buddies!

They don't have names yet but we do know they are a very rare species....the "German Shorthair Cone" and the "Siberian Husky Cone."

I love Nebos happy face! he's just oh so very cute. Looks like you guys had a great time at the expo, and liking the new addition to your family...might I suggest you call it "Fifi Mcfiferson."?

Oh I forgot to mention..let's see....Nebo was a malamute (as usual), akita, some weird japanese breed I've never heard of, wolf, ah what else? Oh yes, a guy with a husky the size of a large malamute told me mine must be a "little scrawny racing husky" because he's too small to be a siberian husky. Ummm ok last time I checked sibes don't weigh over 100 lbs..

Lady was a "river dog" (this was a new one...still confused about that...) a dalmatian, lab...

It's so amusing to listen to people try to guess the breed! It's just D-O-G we don't have to make it complicated!

CONES!!! Aww Amy, these guys need a thread of their own! Congrats on your newest additions, they're just beautiful (but of course any cone is, even the mutts ). Let us know how they settle in!

Looks like you all had a great time (well maybe Nebo more than Lady ). It's so hard to believe all those animals were up for adoption
