    The cat's weekend

As it is so hot here, the cats spend more time sleeping and less eating.

But Filou enjoys his balcony garden.

He looks very cute sitting among the flowers:

What wonderful pictures. I didn't realise just how beautiful your cats were! A garden just isn't complete without a cat is it? What is that vivid blue flower to Filou's left? It's a gorgeous colour.

How lucky Filou is, having such a nice fenced in balcony with pretty flowers and a great view. Tigris looks as if he couldn't care less. We're so looking forward to meeting them!

    How beautiful your cats are!!!
And such keen gardeners...too cute!!! I guess they really enjoy being on the balcony...there's so much going on in the summer...all the birds and insects and sounds and fragrances!!!

Your cats seem to enjoy this time very much!!!

    Thanks for sharing the pictures...

Barbara what beautiful pictures! Your cats are so gorgeous! I am quickly falling head over heels in love with abys!! I see sort of a mesh-type thing in the photos. Is your balcony covered over with a screening so that they are sort of "inside" on the outside? Am I explaining that well?

Thanks everyone. Filou and Tigris blush and enjoy.

The flowers are white and blue petunias, clematis, yellow lantanas and a small kind of yellow petunias.

Yes the balcony is fenced in as it is in the second floor -for their protection.

Me too Pam! I never really knew of them before Pettalk. Such elegant animals. The first photo really shows Filou off ---the long long neck, prominent ears, the intelligent and eager little face.

    A work of art!

They are both such handsome creatures, and what a lovely screened in balcony they have! It's so nice that they can spend some time outside and still be safe.

One of the things I love about Germany and Switzerland is the flowers. Everyone has flowers on their porches/balconies and it just makes everything so pretty.

Your balcony (and feline garden ornaments ) are just beautiful!

We haven't constructed our cats' new outdoor area yet, and you have reminded me to ring the people who sell the netting, or there will be trouble in our house
