That's what I was thinking. Some friends of mine have a boxer who's legs became immobile, so she was standing all night while they slept. When they woke up, they were shocked to find her standing in the same place with her legs frozen, looking exhausted. They took her to the vet straight away, and the vet said that she had a ruptured disk in her back. She required surgery, and now they have to be very careful. No more rough housing or running around too much.

My computer is just about dead!!! Something with the "C" drive. So it is going in to be fixed in the morning - so can never depend on it to work. I hope I can post this.

Thanks for all the concern about Abby. She had a good weekend and goes to the vet early Wed. morning. It very hot here and humidity has been in the 90's!

I do hope the vet will be able to diagnose Abby's problem, but it was still good to know that she had a good weekend. That keeps our hopes up that she is going to be okay. This had to such a scare for you.

Finally have the computer back and running!!!!!

The vet called me yesterday and said all the blood work came back good. I need to set her up for skeletal x-rays in the next few weeks. Otherwise she has been fine. Hope she won't need surgery.

Thanks everybody for the nice input.

It's good to hear that Abby's doing well. I know how frightning
an experience like that can be. For you & for Abby also. Hope she
continues to get around just fine. Thanks for the update.
