lol I cant really answer I dont agree with showing, all my favorite breeds are working dogs and I hate to see them in the show ring. showing tends to breed for looks only not for ability, beardies?? a REAL beardie looks for like a wire coat border collie, then those long haired bouncy things in dog shows, a real beardie aint bouncie either. and border collies, in shows what you see is long fluffy coats short muzzles and little legs, a real border collie, never have fluffy hair, they have a long muzzle and long legs and a german sheperd I cant stand how angulated they are in the show ring, I am suprised they can even walk! sorry I will get off my soapbox about showing dogs now *blush*

but if I had to choose one it woul dbe a saluki

I like all of the breeds, but my two favorites would have to be the poodle and the Samoyed. I don't really care for the show cut on the poodle, but they move so nicely, and sure do know how to show the judge of what their made of! I also love the Samoyeds, because I just love the way some of them stand! I don't know why Oh well lol
I love all show dogs, all working dogs, and absolutely all dogs!

What do you think is the most common breed to win at the shows? Just-a-wanderin?

Theres no most common breed to win at the shows. It all depends on the breed standard.

Looking at statistics from Westminister (the super bowl of
dog shows here in the USA), a whopping 45% of the winners
come from the Terrier Group. The number one winniest breed is
The Wire Fox Terrier with 13 wins, Scottish terriers 2nd with
    7 wins.
