My aunt has two dogs, and I might be wrong, but I don't think that they've ever stopped eating after a surgery. Maybe you should call the vet and ask, I'm sure she's dealt with something like this before.

Try offering her something extra yummy - cooked ground beef, a bit of hotdog, or whatever her favorite treat is. Does she even refuse those? She's such a little dog, a call to a weekend vet may be in order, just in case.

We had to do the babyfood strained veal and rice bit for a while after surgery-really tempted my beastie's appetite, beef broth is also nice-sometimes the after effects of the anesthetic makes the sweeties lose their appetites! And if she was on antibiotics everything can taste a bit metallic for a while!Would you want to eat aluminum foil tasting food? ugh! good luck
