    Finny eats wood, rattan, wicker........

Today, I found an old tennis racquet he had chewed on. I mean........an OLD one......I was saving it!! He chews anything wood, wicker, rattan, plastic. And it's not like he doesn't have toys or a constant rotation of NEW toys. He's only 1 1/2 and only been here 3 months so there's some separation anxiety going on even if I'm in the other room. It's SO horrible to tell him no however. His little ears go back flat as pancakes and he rolls over in sympathy. He's too cute to get that mad at.

    Any suggestions? Ideas?

Never give into the "i'm sorry mama" look. Dogs are professionals at that look.

As for the seperation anxiety...have you done exercises to help with that? You could leash him up to something or crate him and walk away for a minute or so then come back with lots and lots of praise..and increase the time from there. I kind of wish Kai would have a bit of seperation anxiety lol...I can't get him to stick by me.
