    Swamp Kat

Tonight, for the first time ever, I spotted a strange stealthy creature swimming through my backyard...

As it lifted it's head for a breath of air, I quickly snapped a pic...

But the flash from my camera must have frightened this elusive creature...

Not frightened for long though! Another fantastic shot of the beastie!

We let K'Cee outside for the first time tonight... she LOVES the grass! Had an absolute hay-day 'swimming' & stickin' her nose in it. What a nut!

LOL! Love that face!!! Makes me wish we had a swamp here in Kansas! Even our grass is dried up because of the heat. If it starts growing again, I'll keep an eye out. Maybe a swamp creature will glide by!

    Beautiful! Great Pics!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Wow, she can really sink in. No doubt that K-Cee is in hunting mode, it's that time of day. I bet she is having lots of fun! Love the pics!

I think maybe you should send those pictures to National Geographic think they've been searching for proof that the elusive Swamp Kat really does exist!
