    Guess who's coming to dinner?!

Jazz and I were watching the cardinals, blue jays, titmice, finches, and chickadees at the four birdfeeders outside my bedroom window when all of a sudden...someone popped up!

Squirrels will sometimes climb the exterior brick wall, get on the window ledge and then jump the 5 feet to the platform bird feeder:

I think Jazz was afraid to even move - but after squirrel gave up and jumped down, she was asking, "Where'd that big furry mouse go?!"

If you don't have bird feeders, please consider them. They're GREAT entertainment for indoor kitties!

It's Shirley!! How'd she get to South Carolina!

Oh, must just be one of her many relatives.

Jazz is such a cutie, not moving until shirley-kin was gone.

    How cute!!!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

AWWWW what great pictures! I wish I could have a bird-feeder but I'm in a condo and the strata won't allow it - too messy! Anyway when Speckles is on the deck, the little starlings will sometimes land on the balcony railing and taunt her.....all she does is chat at them!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    I Love Squirrels!

The house we used to rent had a bird feeder .... which mostly fed the squirrels!!! A neighbor used to joke that is was a "squirrel feeder" and "warned" me that the squirrels would eat all the bird seed! I LOVE IT, and made sure they were fed well!!! CUTE PICS!

    Cute pictures.

Makes me miss squirrels. I use to see them all the time in my yard, also ate out of the bird feeder. They haven't been around the last 2 years seem like. Not sure if it all the dogs in the yard of what, but something made them go away. Now I want a squirrel. LOL
