my 'dales and fox terriers loved the best balls-they're indestructable-one thing-Jack(my god dog) the big 'dale tries to "have an affair" with the largest one-he does get a bit frustrated because he can't pick it up, he rolls it all over the place and gets totally worn out-he has the small size one ,too-they kinda go cathud when you throw them-he'd rather play with the biggg one-we half filled it with water and he adored the sound-outdoors only with the big ones they can dent walls. The clutch ball didn't last too long-plastic was a bit too inviting-it lasted about 6 hours. We had a time with a tether ball-made our own by putting a nice big ball in a pair of panty hose and dragging the ball just in front of the pursuing beastie.Have a great time Owen
Artists and dogs are not meant to be understood;merely adored!!!
Never heard of the "best ball" is it the same as the Indestructible Ball ?
Angus has the indestructible ball (oh it is destructible but it lasted about a year and now has a huge gaping hole in it!) and we needed to get a new one. He really loves it.

The "Best ball" lloks like the hard plastic balls we have, and have had for over a year now. So far, they have not been destoyed and Sadie loves them!
We also have a clutch ball for indoors, that they like to play with.
Oh! I'd love to have one of each for Nala! She'd love them. I really need to get a food cube too. She'd love that as well.

I was thinking of ordering the best ball, but Abbey destroys balls
I did want to get the jolly ball for them though (it has a handle on it), because they all get frustrated when they can't pick it up.

Hi. My dog (16 mo. old collie mix) loves her clutch ball. It's one of the only toys from her puppyhood that she hasn't managed to destroy.
That's my problem. Owen destroys all balls. I've been away, so I haven't ordered the best ball. I'll give a review once I do. Thanks guys!

Angus just got a new indestructible ball for his birthday. It's huge & so far he hasn't been able to do much harm to it. See he can't get his jaws around it
It's a 14" & I got it from PetEdge for only $14.99!!
Roxey also plays with it, so it's not too big for smaller dogs either

Hi--Angus is so cute. Is his new ball the kind you can fill with different stuff like water or sand?
Yep, it sure is. But he doesn't like anything in it.
I see your new, Welcome to PT

Thanks. I've actually been reading PT for a while; and I finally decided to register.
About balls--if anyone is still looking for recommendations, Katie's other favorite, in addition to her clutch ball, is her hole-ee roler ball, which I've seen available in lots of catalogs. It's slightly bigger than a softball and looks kind of like a wiffle ball--i.e., b/c of the holes. It's great for hiding treats and also for playing inside, because it's soft. And it must be fairly sturdy--or maybe it's just not a good texture for chewing--because she hasn't yet destroyed it.

We got a hol-ee roller in the gift swap--they loved it--that is, until Abbey destroyed it!! I love the texture of it though--soft enough for indoors!!
That ball Angus has looks great--Kito would just love a huge ball like that!!!!
Welcome KatieDog!!
I see we have a fellow Pennsylvanian!!!

Yep--born and raised in PA.
We love the flexible texture of those balls as well--many household items have been spared a sad fate, despite being hit by Kate's hol-ee roller ball. We also can't help laughing when the ball sometimes gets stuck on her skinny nose (which she seems to have inherited from her collie mother).
