What exactly is "subscribing to a forum?"

On my CP page it says "you are not currently subscribed to a forum." Does this mean if I subscribe, I will get email digests?

Exactly - subscribing to a forum, or a thread, emails you whenever someone posts or adds something. On an active board like this, that's a quick way to fill your email box!

And thank you all for the compliments on my signature. Wolfsoul is very good at what she does. I love it too!!! I think it's fitting bcause I would imagine the sunsets in Australia look just like that. (Caasey being an Australian Cattle Dog...)

I just want to say this is a very lovely forum! The people in here are so lively and chipper...very eager to talk and reply. They forum is easy to navigate and I think the forum divisions are very appropriate. I look forward to logging on and reading everyone's posts.

OK, I have a really stupid question....You know where it says "Users Browsing this Forum" at the top of the page? Is there a pattern to the way the members are listed ?? I've just noticed recently that I'm always listed last, and couldn't figure out if it was posted in the order that we logged in or some other order??

I think they are listed by whoever has been browsing that forum the longest amount of time...

Is there a limit to the amount of people you can have on ignore?

(no offense intended to anyone here, I'm talking about some of our "let's post anything to get our numbers up" members.)

lol...I only know one person who does that but she has something good to say every now and then. I'm probably another one of those people. Well kind of...I post not to get the numbers up but simply because I like posting and talking to people. Iunno..annoy myself some times

Nothing really. I'm referring to people posting for the sake of "hearing their own voice", so to speak. As another member said (think it was jonza or randi), "content & quality....not quantity."
