    DOGS AND LIGHT BULBS :D

HOW MANY DOGS DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB?

Golden Retriever: The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, & you're inside worrying about a stupid burned out bulb?

Border Collie: Just one. And then I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code.

Dachshund: You know I can't reach that stupid lamp!

    Rottweiler: Make me.

Lab: Oh, me, me!!! Pleeeze let me change the light bulb! Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh? Huh? Can I?

Newfoundland: Let the Border Collie do it. You can feed me while he's busy.

Jack Russell Terrier: I'll just pop it in while I'm bouncing off the walls and furniture.

Poodle: I'll just blow in the Border Collie's ear and he'll do it. By the time he finishes rewiring the house, my nails will be dry.

Cocker Spanial: Why change it? I can still pee on the carpet in the dark.

Doberman Pinscher: While it's dark, I'm going to sleep on the couch.

    Irish Setter: Huh?

Boxer: Who cares? I can still play with my squeaky toys in the dark..........

Mastiff: Mastiffs are NOT afraid of the dark.

    Chihuahua: Yo quiero Taco Bulb.

Irish Wolfhound: Can somebody else do it? I've got this hangover...........

Pointer: I see it, there it is, there it is, right there........

Greyhound: It isn't moving. Who cares?

Australian Shepherd: First, I'll put all the light bulbs in a circle.....

Old English Sheep Dog: Light bulb? I'm sorry, but I don't see a light bulb?

    Hound Dog: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz

Cat: Dogs do not change light bulbs. People change light bulbs. So the question is: how long will it be before I can expect light???

SORRY IF THIS LEAVES YOUR FAVORITE BREED OUT!

Duke(German Shepherd/Chow) would probably say, "Get away from that light! It's my light!"

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I KNEW THE GERMAN SHEPHERD WAS LEFT OUT. LOVE YOUR "ASSERTIVE" RESPONSES! AND NOONE KNOWS THE SCHNAUZERS BETTER THAN YOU AND DON. RIGHT, JACKIE? NOW I'M WONDERING WHAT THE "MUTT DOG" WOULD SAY? Any ideas out there in DOTD land?

All the mutts I've had would say "if I look at you the right way I know I can make you change it for me".

Of course my current mutt is part whippet and she feels the same way the greyhound does, "why bother if it's not moving, I'll just sleep on the couch like the doberman".

Jenn and Sadie, I just visited your website all about Sadie. I agree she and Mike should have won the "look alike" contest. It's obvious how much you have a mutual admiration society going on. Sadie is beautiful, looking mosly Lab-like. I was interested in her whippet side? I once had a little 12 lb. dog "YoYo" who was part Terrier and Whippet. I clocked her at 30 miles an hour, or so it seemed! Anyhow great website. Glad to meet you both. Bea
