    mine is the greater swiss mountain dog b/c it is shorthaired and has a long tail!

    I like the bernese...I heard that bernese only live to about 8 usually..is that true for the greater swiss mountain dog and entelbucher sennehund?

    I had to pick Bernese Mountain Dog because of all the Bernies I've been blessed to know in person. They're so big and fuzzy and cute.

    I would have to say the Greater Swiss....maybe b/c we are getting one in about 5-6 weeks!!! Yeah! I do love the Berners too...but i love Swissies! They do live a little longer than Berners and can tolerate warmer weather more that the Berner. They are BIG and friendly! I will post a pic of mine when i get her

    I voted for the Bernese and my daughter will probably kill me! She will be adopting a Swissie in July. Her little cutie was just born on May 15th. We went to a Swissie Dog Show earlier this month and met so many awesome dogs. There were 3-4 Bernese Mt. Dogs there too and they were just gorgeous! They were like big furry teddy bears. Their lifespan is way too short so I couldn't handle owning one very well for that reason. There was a Swissie at this event who was 12 yrs. old so that was very encouraging. I know I will fall in love with my new granddog once I meet her though - in about 6 weeks.

    Yes, Although Berners are great and extremely fluffy and loveable...you may just fall in love with the Swissie, after meeting Mocha
