    Update-orphan pups-now 4 weeks, 2 days old!

I can't believe we made it this far. They are now eating mushy puppy kibble 4 times a day and I'm getting far more sleep than I was 2 weeks ago.

They are getting fun now and really developing their own personalities. I like the troublemaking male the most of course.

    RE: What great little puppies!

    Dear NAS_Haven,

    They are just adorable....

I don't know the story....are they puppies that were abandoned or orphaned? Are you planning to keep one?

In any case, they are very lucky to have you!

Just wondering over here in Montreal, Canada

No I won't be keeping one of these as cute as they are. I already have 4 of my own and I run a dog rescue which is how I got these pups. They'll be for adoption when they're 8 weeks old.

It's a weird story but some people took their dog in to get spayed and she was very pregnant. When the vet spayed the dog the pups were viable so she delivered them. The people just wanted their dog back but not the pups so the vet called me.

I lost one pup the first night but these 4 have done great. I've added a few grey hairs though!

    RE: Rescued Puppies

    Dear NSW_Haven

That is really a strange story about the pregnant dog and the viable puppies...it seems impossible that the owners were naive enough to think that the VET would not notice a nearly full-term pregnancy!!! WOW!! But then, LIFE is often much stranger than fiction.!!! Thankfully you were there to provide help and the rest is HISTORY!

They are simply adorable and it is a good thing that I am not closer to you...!!!
keep up the kind and compassionate work that you are obviously committed to doing....
