    New Haircut

    Beavis with his bi-annual shave:

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

WOW!! He lost a lot of "weight"!! When I saw him a couple of weeks ago he was HUGE......must have been all that hair!

Fluffy goes in tomorrow for his summer "do".

Well he's not exactly a tiny one, weighing in at 22 lbs.! But his hair grows really long which makes him look all the more huge. When the vet lifted the carrier he said "we got a studly one here"!I cannot carry the carrier with Beavis inside.

WOW - 22 pounds! That would be the combined weight of two of my kitties!

I just love big cats. He sure is a cutie.

Beavis, you do look a bit grumpy with your new haircut, but we think it suits you!! It must be so much nicer during summer with this hairstyle! Chin up!

Actually he's quite the opposite...a major lover and purrer. I just woke him up from a nice nap in the sun! It's starting to get nice and toasty (in the 90's) and he was sunbathing!

You know, Beavis, I really think you should consult our friend Miss Edwina for some accessories to go with your new haircut. Just because you are a male doesn't mean that you shouldn't be in style. You look very handsome.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
