    STOLEN! Crufts agility champion...

My friend Kat just had her Border Collie, Meg, stolen out of her backyard. Meg just won the senior agility championship at Crufts and they live in Northern Ireland.

If anyone on this board lives in that area PLEASE put the word out on Meg. This dog is Kat's life and she is absolutely terrified for her right now. Meg is highly trained in agility and obediance.

These are the best pics of Meg that I have right now. I'll try to get more details later.

Found! Whoever took her dumped her about 30 miles away. The police told Kat that she was probably on her way to Southern Ireland for breeding purposes. They more than likely spotted her spay scar!

Hey I just found another good reason to have your dog's altered.......

I was just going to post about Meg being found. She's on an MSN list that I am on called Just Dogs and I thought about this thread.

I'm so glad she's back...too bad they can't get the SOBs that took her in the first place.

Personally I wish Kat had gotten ahold of the people that took her. There would of been one less dog thief in Northern Ireland and it wouldn't have been pretty. You just don't mess with a woman and her dog. Especially an Irish woman!

So happy to hear that Meg is now home safe. GGRRRRR at the SOB's that took her.

One of Jess' coworkers had her GSD mix stolen from her. She was gone 3 weeks when someone spotted her with a homeless person in a park. They took the dog and when the homeless woman started yelling that they were stealing their dog, the other woman said simply, 'She's microchipped. You can come with us to the vet where we can prove it.'

The homeless woman didn't argue after that. She claimed some man gave her the dog.

whoa, I'm glad that ended quick. It could have been much worse. Good thing Meg wasn't what they wanted, and I hope they don't go after more..
