I would like to say that it was because Daisy is a Golden Retriever that she went the extra mile to save lives (everyone knows how much I LOOOOVVVVEEE Goldens by now) BUT it is more likely that many other Canine Breeds would of done the same thing! There unconditional love is what makes them so precious to us all. I can NOT picture a world without their love and devotion.

Daisy is a heroine and deserved the recognition!!!!!

What a neat story. I like Goldens too, but, with so many different breeds living with us, I can say unequivicablly that I think ALL breeds have that capability. I think as long as the animal is a canine, it has the possibility of doing what Daisy did. Gee, the name Daisy sure is popular!!! Go Daisy girl. I wonder if there is any way to find out how Daisy girl healed up.

Isn't it amazing to realize that, while the terrorists were determined to murder as many people as possible, a dog could save over 900 lives? As somebody, I don't remember who, said: "The more I know people, the more I love my dog."

"All men are created equal but none of them is equal to a dog." From the "Howard Huge" cartoon..
