Ripley gets the "Big Snip" today

This morning I will take Ripley for his neutering appointment. He is my little sweetheart and even though he has only been a part of our home for a little over a month now, it seems like he has always been here. He has become a very special family member. Of course am worried about him as he goes under the anesthesia just like a nervous momma. If you think of it, and would care to, please say a little prayer for my special little boy that his 'sir jury' will be smooth.

Ripley will most definitely be in my thoughts and prayers today. Whenever I hear of a PetTalk family member going for surgery - I always say a prayer.

It's a short procedure, but still surgery and I know every time I take one of mine - I worry. So, take care of yourself and keep busy. He'll be home before you know it. Then you can spoil him lots.

Ripley is going to do just fine. He's a brave lil guy! And he will feel so much better when he comes home to his mommy and big sister Bella! They are going to give him all the TLC he needs to have a speedy recovery!

    Ripley is in my thoughts!

I'm sure that Ripley is so happy to be in his new home that he will not mind all the pampering and love that comes after his sir jury, Pam!!! We will definitely keep him in our prayers. I just hate that I won't see an update on him until we get back!!

Give him a hug from me when he gets home!!!

I will be thinking of Ripley! I'm sure he will be just fine! I was completely *paranoid* when I took Nebo in to be neutered! lol I hope Ripley comes home without the giant cone--and he probably will, lol, he's not naughty Nebo...

I just got a phone call from the vet's office and my heart stopped. Thankfully they started out with "Ripley is fine" so that I could exhale. He is apparently under anesthesia now and the vet has found that he still has 3 baby teeth in his upper jaw. His second teeth are in so there is quite a bit of crowding. He just wanted my permission to remove these teeth. Whew! I knew I wouldn't be hearing from them until later this afternoon so for a minute my heart stopped! Maybe he is younger that we all thought he was.

I can see why you would panic - getting a call this early! Wow, that would have given me a shocker.

Still has baby teeth - he definitely must be younger. That's great - younger means he'll recover better and faster!

like your vet is really checking Ripley out good in finding the
three baby teeth.LOL. Ripley is such a cutie. Hope he does

Be brave, Ripley, and don't bite Sir Jury, even with the extra teeth!

Sounds like you have a very nice, thorough vet there, Pam!

Bella, no making fun if the little guys kinda wobbly when he gets home, okay?
