    Remember Duffy?

With so many pups having health problems these days, I thought I'd bring some good news to cheer you up.
Remember goofy Duffy, the Airdale who had lymphoma?
I just got an e-mail from Susan saying that the vet considers him completely cured!!! It was a long and bumpy road with all the chemo treatments, but it worked.
To all of you who prayed for him almost a year ago, thanks from his mommy and myself. And for all the moms of sick pets, have faith, miracles do happen.

Such excellent news!!! Is it a complete cure or just in remission? Was it Stage 1 when it was discovered? I'm so glad to hear good news for a change!!

Yes Sue, it's complete recovery. The vet wrote "Yeah!" in his chart. I don't remember if it was Stage 1, but it was very scary when Susan found out.

    Alicia,

Yes, I remember Duffy very well. I love Airdales anyway & I
loved his story. Thanks for this wonderful , positive update.
I'm so happy for Duffy & his Momma. I remember a quote
about Airdales by Chip Brown in Connisseur Magazine.

"The Airdale...an unrivaled mixture of brains, and clownish
wit, the very ingredients one looks for in a spouse "

    Yea Duffy !!!
