    Squaring is correct!

My friend was on the outside with a horse-friendly horse (Jackson), and this other girl with a kicker horse actually passed her too close on the inside. The horse that got mad at Jackson kicked for Jackson, but ended up kicking my friend's shin (that horse kicked high!). My friend was taken to the hospital and x-rayed. Thank goodness all she had was a really badly bruised shin, not a broken one. The girl should have known that her horse was a kicker and should have taken caution!

I saw a Horrible Incident when I was younger and working at a farm in N.J.
a horse was not "Tagged" as a Kicker...and unfortunately, kicked another...broke his hind leg clean...but unfortunately, since he was a lesson horse....his name was Scarborough Fair...he had to be euthanized...
I will never forget that day as long as I live....
There are raesons that people come up with these ideas and "Rules of the Ring"...people should abide by them...

Luka and Deli, those are sad stories about the kickers.
When I was a riding camp counselor we had one horse who was always trying to kick the horses next to him when we got them ready for the lessons. Two of the other riding counselors made the mistake of walking between him and another horse and getting kicked by him.(on different days). They both had hoof sized bruises on their thighs for the rest of the summer!

So does anyone have any new questions? If not maybe I will come up with some new ones tomorrow.
    RIP sweet Samantha

Deli, you got me curious so I did a search and found out that
Molly Ashe and her bay mare Kroon Gravin won!
Ashe was one of only 3 horse-and-rider combinations to jump a clean first round and advance to the jump-off. Ashe was then the only one to go clean over the eight-obstacle jump-off course, crossing the timers in 45.376 seconds.

    Check your PM's.

    Oops!
Sorry Deli, that was the most recent info I could find in a search!
I should have checked the date but it was on top of my search so I assumed it was this year!
I told you that it is hard for me to keep up with some of the horse news on TV and such. Maybe you have a link that could help me?

The winner this year was the Ever so talented Chris Kappler and Royal Kaliber...second was Meredith Michaels and Shutterfly..OOps her name is now Beerbaum...she married Marcus..Eros and Annie were 3rd...Laura Kraut and May were 4th...

Meredith beat Chris' time at 42.40...but had 4 faults...Chris went double clean at 43.92....sometimes careful is good...also luck of the draw...in order of go!!

I still don't think that Kroon Gravin made an appearance...or she got knocked out Very Early.......

Vermontcat...I get The Only magazine to get in all aspects of horse business...it is the Chronicle of the Horse...it is 52.00 per year...and is published weekly...what a deal;.....it is the most up to date....
or you can go to their website..chronicleofthehorse.com

I really don't have time to read magazines so I will stick to the website and its free!
I love the name of the horse Shutterfly. I will try to find some new questions if no one else has any.
