    leaving radio/tv on for pets

hey guys...im new here...this is my first post i was looking at the pet poll today, asking if you leave on the tv or the radio for your pet. Well, I have 3 hermit crabs and I leave the radio on for them all the time. I think they enjoy it because they can feel the vibrations from the speakers, and when i have it on they'll come out of their hermie hut (a half coconut) and watch through the glass of their crabitat they are nocturnal and i rarely see them during the day, so i think that says something!
i think my cat enjoys it too because she is lonely at home all day when i'm at school, and i come home and find her asleep by the radio

    what do you guys think?

Although my cats have each other to keep themselves company, I still leave the television on for them.

    Welcome to PT!

I do not leave anything on for my kitties cause they all have each other to entertain. They usually separate into groups-neko and cookie, and then pumpkin and tama and hang out with each other like that.

No I don't , because she barks at the tv when animals are on it.
I haven't really thought about the radio.

    we leave on 2 radios
1 in the area they spend the most time when we're gone and 1 in another room by the street to drowned out noise from outside. Nina barks at all the dog sounds coming from the TV so it has to be radio. She also barks if some one knocks at a door on TV.
I leave a TV on all night in the bedroom, as a night light ,no sound, but also because kelcee (cat) loves to watch it. As soon as I turn it on she is looking
