    Bandit #1 is terminal

My parents didn't know that there was one more report to come back on Bandit. It is terminal lymphosarcoma. Because of it's location (in all the vessels) chemo is useless. Please pray that an impossible miracle happens. Please pray that they can survive the loss of another beloved Great Pyr at such a young age (20 months) in just 6 short months since the passing of their 5 yr. old. They are seeing the specialist on Monday. I will update when I find out more. They are devastated.

Sue, I am in tears at this report. I can only imagine the pain your parents are feeling at this diagnosis when the pain of losing another precious pup in the prime of life is only 6 months old.

I pray God will give them the strength to deal with this and that Bandits remaining days be comfortable and happy because he has the love of your very special mom and dad.

    Dear Sue:
I'm so very sorry to hear the latest news about Bandit. I do hope that a miracle is still possible, I'll be praying for one.

    Cinder and Smoke:
If you read this post, please open your direct line to Heaven, the good wishes of your sweet souls have been very helpful to other pups before.

    Sue,
I hardly know what to say at a time like this. I guess we were all so relieved that Bandit came through the surgery successfully that we really never concentrated on the results of the biopsy. All I can tell you is that your whole family, you included, are in my thoughts and prayers and that Bandit is at the TOP of the prayer list. I do not want him to suffer, and if God sees fit to keep him with us for a while, we would be so grateful. Please let your parents know how devastated we all are for them and for Bandit and that we are thinking of them with great hope.

Sue, I'm so stunned and so sad to hear this news That amount of loss, heartbreak and anguish would be difficult even the youngest and strongest of us. My thoughts are with you, your family and dear Bandit. Maybe the specialist can offer some hope. I will stay positive and pray that God blesses Bandit with more time to love and be loved. I'm so sorry.

Thank you everyone. I just feel so empty. I know my parents are just devastated. I am at a loss for words. Sometimes life is so unfair. Bandit was just starting to have a good life being removed from his abusive beginnings, but it will end all too soon, I fear.

Thank you all. You are my strength.

Oh, what a shock and what horrible news. I'll hold you all in my thoughts and prayers.
