Beautiful Ragdoll Coco!
Dearest Coco, a.k.a. Coco Fluff Nugget, you are absolutely stunning! What a beautiful Ragdoll fellow you are, with that soft, fluffy, thick fur in true Seal Point coloring and that sweet face with those long white whiskers and lovely big blue eyes. Thank you for sharing all those great photos with us, showing you in so many different moods and settings so well. You look so comfortable in them all! I wish I could reach through the screen and down over to San Jose and pet you and rub your tummy, and pet your 18-year-old kitty housemate Pedro and rub his tum if he wants, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you both and rub the appropriate tummies for me .
And you have quite the story to tell. You first came into the lives of your dear Purrrsons-to-be when your previous "owner" moved and left you behind. Fortunately, your Purrrson-to-be found out about you and and talked his/her elderly mother into adopting you. You and she enjoyed each other's company for about nine months. You'd fall asleep in her arms, laying on your back like a baby with her and napping together. Then she passed away, and your Purrrson couldn't bear to re-home you. He/she wound up bringing you home, where you became Pedro's roommate. Several months later, you and he still do a lot of hissing and growling. You may only ever be "frenemies," but you're slowly becoming more tolerant of each other.
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You're a big boy with a tiny meow, and you often patrol the house at night making trilling sounds. You love to lay in the garden or sit on the porch and watch passersby. You're such a sweetie, your claws are never out, and you lick your Purrrson's hand in gratitude after a nice cuddling session. You very much love to play and to have your tummy rubbed. You're a very special boy, and you and all your family members, including Pedro of course, love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Coco, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Pedro and Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
