    Beauitful Maggie!

Hi Maggie! Happy Dog of the Day!

What a beautiful Chow x GSD you are, Maggie, inside and out! I'm so very sorry to hear of the neglect you endured at the hand of your first "family." But blessedly you are finally living the happy, active, carefree and love filled life you always deserved! Endless thanks to your wonderful family for seeing you for the diamond in the rough that you were, giving you all the time you needed to blossom into the happy, confidant, trusting girl we meet here today! You've even graduated basic obedience, ready to take charge of the agility course! Your amazing transformation truly is living proof of the healing power of time, patience and unconditional love!!!

She was neglected by her owners for the first six months of her life. Maggie had to be taught how to play, bark, and other things that most dogs normally love to do. But with lots of love and attention (and patience) Maggie now can do tricks and even barks when her Dad get home from work.
In fact, you're the poster girl for the priceless rewards of rescue! How lucky your humans are, having a beautiful, energetic, sweet and loving furkid, a full fledged family member in you, Maggie! You're just as special as they come, a treasure, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Meeting you today, reading your heartwarming rags to riches rescue story has been a joy! I hope you're enjoying a very special day of celebration...playing with your kitty brother, Michael; perfecting those tricks and practicing some agility; cuddling with your humans; being loved and pampered to pieces! Lots of love, hugs and smooches to you, beautiful Maggie, our very special and most deserving Dog of the Day, EVERY day! Love to kitty Michael, too!

    SO beautiful!!!

Dearest Maggie, you are gorgeous! What a beautiful Chow Chow/German Shepherd mix girl you are, with that richly colorful fur and that sweet face with such a look of love. And what a heartwarming story you have to tell! I'm so sorry that you were neglected by your first "owners" when you were just a pup. And I'm so happy and grateful that your True, REAL family brought you Home at age six months. They gave you all the time and space and love you needed to learn to play and bark and then to do tricks and greet Dad with barks when he comes home from work. Now you've graduated from Obedience School and will go on to agility and other classes. You have blossomed into the delightful dog you always were! You love to do tricks and play with your kitty pal Michael. You and he and your dear humans all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Maggie, on being chosen today's Dog of the Day! We hope you and your dear Michael and people and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
