Dearest Ginger, what a beautiful Cocker Spaniel you are! That long colorful fur is absolutely gorgeous, and you have the sweetest face with those long, LOOOONG ears and the lovely big dark eyes. You're so cute in your Santa hat.
And what an inspirational character you are! You are a ..mature (not senior!) cocker spaniel who gets around just great despite being blind. You enjoy your walks and then coming home to run around in circles until your people give you a dog biscuit. You love to be scratched behind your ears and to play and jump all over your people. Blind as you are, you get along quite well, other than when you get too close to your brother's food or water bowl! You lead a good life, and you and your brother and your people all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Ginger, on being chosen today's Dog of the Day! We hope you and your dear brother and people and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
