    Dearest Maisie, what a beautiful Hovawart girl you are! This is a new breed for me, and what a delightful introduction to it you are!

    That colorful fur looks so soft and fluffy, and you have the sweetest face with that cute pink tongue and those lovely big brown eyes. What a great hobby you have: you LOVE trains! You get so excited when a train comes by during your walk, and you run along watching it and bouncing and barking and wagging. You have a delightful personality. You're smart, calm, and sweet, and you keep watch over all your family. You and they all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

    Congratulations, darling Maisie, on being chosen today's Dog of the Day! We hope you and your dear person and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
