Magnificent Mac!
Dearest Mac, what a handsome fellow you are! You are absolutely adorable in all those great photos, and thank you for sharing them with us. That fluffy fur in about 50 shades of grey is so thick and luxurious and looks so soft, and what a sweet face you have with those lovely big eyes. How nice to see you relaxing so comfortably in so many different poses! In that one of you lying with your tummy turned up, are you looking for a tummy rub? I wish I could reach through the screen and over to New York to rub your tummy (only if you want it rubbed, of course) and pet you. I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will rub your tummy (only if you want it rubbed, of course) and pet you for me .
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You joined your family three years ago, about six months after their beloved dog had passed away. You have been doing an excellent job of filling in for their dear dog, sleeping in the same places and greeting them from the top of the stairs when they arrive home. They say you are "the most dog-like cat you will ever meet!" You keep a very busy schedule each day and do a fabulous job performing your important tasks Purrrfectly. You and your dear Purrrsons love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Mac, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrsons are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. We know your family's dear Doggie Angel is rejoicing with you at the Rainbow Bridge!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
