Hi Petey!!! Happy Dog of the Day to you, sweetheart!

Aww!!! What a beautiful, most precious Beagle x boy you are, pawsitively precious! Hard to believe you're 13 years young, Petey! You don't look half your age, more like a puppy! And just look at that sweet, sweet smile! I had to laugh, reading this...Smart pupper!

We call him our co-dependent independent dog. He acts like he wants to be left alone, as long as you are constantly petting him!

How well your daddy's hard work at college was rewarded, the day he gifted himself YOU! Endless thanks to him for choosing rescue, giving one most deserving doggie a chance at a happy life! And oh, what a wonderful 14 years it has been, complete with a little Beagle brother! How blessed your family is, having a furkid, a best friend and loving companion in you, Petey! You're just as special as they come, a treasure, simply the best!

He is just a wonderful dog who fills our house with love. We hope he lives for many many more years, because we can't imagine life without him!
