    Fantastic Flames

Flames, what an apt name for you.
BTW, your occupation as Barn Cat is the oldest occupation there is.
Cats protecting grain storage began 10,000 years ago in the Fertile Crescent at the dawn of agriculture.

Dearest Flames, you are adorable! What a beautiful young lady you are! You are so pretty, with that soft-looking orange and white fur and that sweet face with the cute pink nose and the lovely big eyes. My orange-and-white-fur girl Sparkler says, "Hello, Meow!" I wish I could reach through the screen and over to South Dakota to pet you, and pet your other family kitties, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you all for me .

And what a delightful story you have to tell! You are only four months old, a growing girl, and as a farm cat you are learning a very busy and important job, that of being a mouser. You live on your family's ranch, and you're always the first cat running out of the barn to see your dear Purrrson. When he/she brings the bucket of cat food and milk each evening, you jump on your two back feet and try to look in the bucket! You're very curious and adventurous, and you like to walk with your dear Purrrson and explore the outdoors, checking out anything that moves. You and she/he love each other dearly, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Flames, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrson and kitties and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Dear Flames, what a beautiful girl you are. Your coat is just gorgeous and soft looking, and you have the cutest face.
Even at your tender age, you are already showing great promise as a barn kitty, protecting your ranch from vermin.
You are very attached to your human, always the first kitty to come out of the barn to greet her/him and walking along on outdoor explorations.
Flames, you are an adorable kitten and soon, you will be all grown up. I wish you, the other kitties and your family a great day full of celebration, and many more happy and healthy years together.
