Enchanting Ellie!
Dearest Ellie, what a beautiful adult lady you are, and what an adorable kitten you were in that picture with the tulips and the video of you and your equally-adorable sister! Thank you for sharing those great photos and the video with us. It's so nice to meet you both that way! You are so stately and elegant sitting up in that first picture, proud and content and on top of your world, with that gorgeous Tabby fur and the sweet face with those lovely big eyes. And of course, you kittens are ..kittens, precious as the world is round! I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Vermont to pet you both! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you, and your Purrrson's sister will pet your sister for me .
And what a delightful story you have to tell! Your dear Purrrson found you both on the street when you were just a few months old and then had to teach you how to use the litter box and eat off a plate and then out of a bowl. One of his/her sisters took your sister. At first you were thought to be a boy, until you became a year old and went into heat! You're not real trusting and don't like other cats and people, which may be due some to your early rough life on the streets. You love playing with toy balls that have a bell in them. You're great at catching mice. You are helping your dear Purrrson to become a better person, and you both love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Ellie, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrson and dear sister and her Purrrson and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
