Dearest Oreo, you are adorable! What a beautiful English Spot Rabbit you are, and what an interesting design you have in your soft-looking fur. You are your dear young person's first bunny. He/she and sister each got one that day, so two bunnies joined your family then! You are loving, kind, cute, and help your person do a lot of things. You cuddle with her/him, and you make her happy when she's sad!! You're a very hyper bunny, and your favorite things to do are eat and thump your back feet! You didn't like your harness at first, but now you love it: you can get out of your pen and leap around in the grass! You and your dear person and human sister and bunny sister and all your family members love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Oreo, on being chosen today's Pet of the Day! We hope you and your dear person and human sister and bunny sister and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats, maybe a special serving of carrots and strawberries!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

    Outstanding Oreo!

Hi Oreo! Happy Pet of the Day!

What a beautiful English Spot bunny you are, Oreo! Your "cookies and cream" colored coat is beautiful, SO yummy, hehe, and I can only imagine how soft to the touch it is, what a treat it is to hold you and cuddle you and stroke those velvety ears!

How lucky your young human is, having a best friend and comforter, a "first" furkid as beautiful, as sweet and loving, as special as you! She knew the very first time she laid eyes on you that you were the one for her and the rest is happy history! And what a lucky bun are you, Oreo, being treated to all the best in life, including a handmade hutch, a yummy diet, fun time romping in your garden, not to mention indoor "field trips!" Yes, your human loves you SO very much, and there's not a doubt in my mind that you love her back ten fold! What a terrific team you and she make, best friends for life!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Meeting you today, seeing your heart-melting photos and learning of the very special bond you and your human share has been a real treat! I hope you're enjoying a very special day of celebration...spending fun time in your garden with your bunny sibling; munching on strawberries and carrots; cuddling with your human; being loved and pampered to pieces, treated to all your heart desires and more! Lots of love, snuggles and kisses to you, beautiful Oreo, our very special and most deserving Pet of the Day, EVERY day! Love to your dear bunny brother/sister, too!

Congratulations, Oreo, on being POTD with instructions from the Pet Rabbit Experts at the Humane Society and Pet Rabbit Rescue Societies:

"Every rabbit owner should know that the safest place for a rabbit to live is indoors. Rabbits should never be kept outdoors! Domestic rabbits are different from their wild relatives—they do not tolerate extreme temperatures well, especially in the hot summer months. Even in a safe enclosure, rabbits are at risk from predators. Merely the sight or sound of a nearby wild animal can cause rabbits so much stress that they can suffer a heart attack and literally die of fear."

"Rabbits were not designed to live on wire floors, a pet rabbit does not need a wire floor. Wire floors cause sores to develop on rabbits’ feet. All cages with wire floors must have a piece of plexi-glass or a piece of plywood that the rabbit can sit on. When using grass hay, the ENTIRE wire floor should be covered. Carpet squares are good for some rabbits. If they chew on the carpet, you must remove it immediately or risk the rabbit getting an intestinal blockage."

Our goal is to keep all pets healthy and safe!
