    Dearest Freddy, you are gorgeous! What a beautiful American Paint Horse you are. And what a delightful personality you have! You were your dear person's first horse, and you two have been together for over ten years now. I'm sorry that a few years ago you became lame and you can no longer be ridden, but you still play! Your favorite thing to do is play with your jolly ball, making silly faces when you do. You and your dear person love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

    Congratulations, darling Freddy, on being chosen today's Pet of the Day! We hope you and your dear person and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

    Oh my! What a stunning beauty you are, Freddy! You have the most beautiful coat and markings and your photos, your actions shots, are truly breathtaking! (I couldn't help noticing you giving the "side eye" to someone, photo #3!)

    I'm sorry to hear you're no longer able to compete in the show ring, having come up lame. But it's clear from your photos your lameness hasn't kept you from enjoying every minute of life, your retirement, to the max! Quite the athlete, that you are, not to mention forever young!

    How lucky your human is, having been blessed with a "first" as special as you, a loyal and loving teammate and best friend in you! You truly are a treasure, Freddy, beautiful inside and out, and so very deserving of your big day in the spotlight!

    Thanks for the BIG smiles, Freddy! Meeting you today has been a joy! I hope you're in the midst of a very special day of celebration...playing with your beloved jolly ball and munching on some yummy carrots and peppermints, spending special time with your lady, being loved and pampered to pieces!
