Dearest Oscar, you are adorable! What a precious Terrier-mix guy you are! And how sweet to see you with your dear loving and beloved person. You have been helping her grieve the loss of her other dog after 17 years together. You and she clearly love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved predecessor, Oscar. Losing a furkid of so many years is indescribably painful, and we can only imagine the emptiness your mum experienced at his passing. But then you, her heart-healer, her furry bandage came on scene and suddenly life was looking a whole lot brighter, the smiles returning to her face! You've only been with your mum a mere few months but already you've stolen your mum's heart, the two of your forging such a beautiful bond of love and trust, just the beginning of many, many happy years of shared love and friendship yet to come! Such are the priceless rewards of rescue!

Endless thanks to your mum for choosing adoption, opening up her home and heart to one extra special and most deserving boy! And in return, every day since your happy homecoming you repay the compassion shown you, bringing so much joy and happiness to your mum's life! Sounds like a case of mutual rescue to me!
