Dearest Miyoko, just as your name says, you are a beautiful child indeed! Your shiny ebony fur is absolutely gorgeous and looks so very soft, and what a sweet face you have with those lovely big green eyes. Thank you for sharing all those great photos with us! You are adorable in every one of them. I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Williamsburg, VA to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me .

You were put back in your trap to await your return to the wild, but somehow you and your dear Purrrson-to-be clicked. You bonded and became best buds, and you went home with her/him.. ten years ago! You've been a member of the family ever since, living the life of luxury that every cat dreams of (and deserves, of course). You and your dear Purrrson love each other very much, don't you. You certainly had a rough start at life, sweetheart. But thanks to a team of dedicated feral cat rescuers you were humanely trapped and provided with enough basic health care to at least, give you a chance once returned to the wild. But then, as fate would have it, your life took an unexpected turn...

But something happened between trapping her and transporting her back to the feral colony where she came from. We bonded and became best buds.

And the rest is happy history! Oh, how very blessed your human was, the day you chose her/him to be your one and only! And what wise choice that was, Miyoko, living in the lap of luxury, treated to all the best that life has to offer, including but not limited to your very own cottage, poolside accommodations, trees to climb and a river to relax by and best of all, all the love your heart can hold! You chose well, Miyoko!

Your human is one lucky mom/dad, having a furkid as beautiful, as smart, as devoted and loving as you, her beautiful child. You're a gem, Miyoko, a treasure, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!

Miyoko was trapped at a feral cat feeding station in a rural county in Virginia. We transported her to a cooperating veterinary clinic where she was spayed, eartipped, vaccinated and returned to her trap to await her return to the wild. But something happened between trapping her and transporting her back to the feral colony where she came from. We bonded and became best buds.

Miyoko came home with me ten years ago and has been a member of the family ever since. She's the smartest and most self-sufficient cat I've ever known and has enjoyed every luxury known to cats and humankind alike, including having her own exclusive cottage to live in, a pool to relax beside, any number of trees to climb and a lovely waterside dock to watch the river flow. The name Miyoko in Japanese means “beautiful child� - she is that and so much more!
