When Oscar had his dental surgery last week a small bump was also removed from between his nose and eye. Turns out it's a tumour on a blood vessel - a hemangiosarcoma.
This occurs in less than 2% of cats. My vet was not surprised that, of course, one of MY cats had it.
Looks like they got the margins; these tumours don't metastasize like others do. Still, at my vet's suggestion I included a scan of the report in an email to Cole's oncologist.
Oscar is happy, pain-free, eating well and purring!
